Born in Germany, Dilek started ballet as a child aged 7. Initially training in the Russian Vaganova method, her actual vocational training began in Turkey, Mersin Conservatoire for Dance. She took her dance training at Ballet Academy Cologne, Germany, gaining a Diploma as Classical Ballet Dancer as well her National Diploma in Ballet Pedagogy. She completed her Teaching qualifications of the Royal Academy of Dance STC, TC,TD and has RTS status.
She worked with established international teachers like Lynn Wallis OBE (Artistic Director RAD), Gillian Anthony RAD, Deborah Wayne RAD, Alex Morris RAD, Theodore Constant, Susan Quinn, Libby Farr and many others.
As a dancer, favourite roles were ‘Giselle’, Demi-Soloist at Turkey State Opera, coached by Nevin Arik, Joffrey Ballet & dancing in classics like 'Les Sylphides', 'Pas de Quatre', 'Arabian Dancer' Nutcracker, Swan Lake Coryphee at German opera houses.
In 2003 she received a scholarship for London Contemporary Dance School 'The Place' working with like Merce Cunningham, Trisha Brown Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, Siobhan Davies, DV8, Kerry Nicholls (ex-Rehearsal director Wayne Mc Gregor). Dilek toured with ‘Physical Theatre Ensemble Cologne’. Before training in New York, USA, she took classes with Merce Cunningham Dance School, Merce Cunningham.
Dilek danced for ‘Straight Short’ Cannes Film Festival and acted in a Motion picture alongside Vanessa Paradise, which led to a Dance-Film project with Roundhouse, London.
Dilek was a Lead Ballet Tutor at the Arts Educational Schools London, Ballet Tutor at Roehampton University, Mentor for the RAD's CBTS, Pineapple Dance Studios, London Studio Centre, Greiner Ballet Academy in Cologne among others and teaches at City Literary Institute. She is a Guest Teacher for various International Summer Schools including the IDW, London & Barcelona.
Dilek is the Artistic Director of DT Dance. Her focus is maintaining artistry whilst working on technical accuracy. She enjoys coaching exams, repertoire and directing rehearsals.
Patron: Maria Ribo O'Malley
Born in Spain, Maria began her dance training at the age of 5 and graduated from the Royal Ballet Upper School before joining English National Ballet. She was promoted to First Artist in 2004, Maria performed all of the classical productions and many soloist roles all over the world. She has been teaching dance and choreography to young dancers, professionals and adults since 2008.
She was a Ballet teacher at the Arts Educational School London and has an excessive knowledge of ballet and a network of professional connections.

Linda Boninsegni: Lead Teacher Ballet
Linda was born in Italy and is an experienced dancer and dance teacher. After her ballet training under the system of Rad®, she continued her training in Austria (SEAD), and danced professionally in Switzerland (Ballet de Genève) and most recently in England, where she also works as a teacher for ballet and contemporary dance since 2009. Especially her three-year commitment to a company specialised in works for a young audience (Tees Valley Dance) brought her closer to the educational work with children in a special way. At Roehampton University London, Linda also completed her Masters in Choreography and Performance in 2012. Following this, she taught ballet, contemporary and modern dance in a dance academy in Germany.
She is familiar with the educational system of the Rad® but she also teaches free syllabus classes from beginner to professional level, as well as National Curriculum creative dance classes for Primary schools. Linda's educational work, both with children and adults, is characterised by a patient and lovable nature, creativity and attention to details.
Linda is also an extremely passionate & highly skilled Pilates Teacher and teaches Pilates all over London. She brings this knowledge into our Conditioning classes which benefit the Classical Ballet training immensely.
Linda speaks German, English, French and Italian of course.
Hazel Morrison and Admin: Ballet
Hazel Morrison was awarded B.A.T.D Associate Teacher status in Ballet by the British Association of Teacher’s of Dancing (B.A.T.D) . She studied music at The University of Edinburgh and performed with various orchestras and jazz bands, whilst continuing to dance and working as a dance teacher at The Reid School of Dance. As an Assistant in the Education and Development departments for Scottish Ballet, she worked at a number of company performances whilst on tour around Scotland. On graduating with a BMus (Hons) Hazel took up the position of Development Officer at Scottish Ballet whilst also working as a music and dance teacher at The Academy of Theatre Arts in Edinburgh. She worked as a dance tutor across the Glasgow area as part of Glasgow Council Active Schools scheme.
Moving to London , Hazel studied for a Masters in Ballet Studies at Roehampton University London. During this time she also worked as an assistant ballet teacher at Scottish Ballet’s annual summer school and took up work with London Children’s Ballet on their annual production at Sadler’s Wells Peacock Theatre. She began dance training with Dilek Taptik at Roehampton University and working on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus which led to her beginning to work as an Assistant teacher at The Dilek Taptik School of Dance, eventually working as a part time staff. She is a RTS of the Royal Academy of Dance &
currently works as the RAD Head of Training. She continues to enjoy training and teaching.
